Height Safety Association of New Zealand

Every year, thousands of New Zealanders are seriously injured at home and at work through accidents involving falls from heights.

Many of these accidents were preventable. Many could have been avoided if basic safety steps had been in place.

The Height Safety Association of New Zealand (HSANZ) is a multi-disciplinary organisation comprising of government agencies, industry associations, suppliers, manufacturers, training organisations and end-users of height safety equipment across a wide range of industries.

It's objectives are:

• To provide information to all industries and training organisations regarding issues of working at height;
• Provide techincal support for the development of compliance documentation; and
• To research and promote new initiatives and technology in regards to height safety.
